Enciclopedia del Cine Español lists one title from 1945, which needs to be confirmed. Other than that his known film career commences in 1958. He then worked fairly steadily for the next 10 years. While he does have a fair amount of credits, it must be said that many of those roles are very small, and would not have been credited in films with smaller cast lists. From the type of roles he played, it would seem very likely that he could have undocumented roles to be found.

Titles where Rafael is listed as appearing somewhere online, but cannot be found. There always has to be one!
- La duchesse d'Avila (1973 TV mini-series) Ep. 3. IMDb as Priest of the inquisition. There is a credit for "Raphel Alcantara" in this role, which it would seem reasonable to think is a mis-spelling of Rafael's name, however I searched this episode and the rest of the series and he was nowhere to be found, so who knows.
