His earliest-known role is an uncredited bit part in Sergio Leone's classic Il buono, il brutto, il cattivo and this is undoubtedly the role for which he is best remembered today. In 2 short years he rose, via several prominent supporting roles, to playing the male lead in No le busques tres pies... and he looked to be well on the way to a promising career in leading roles, and then? Nothing! It appears he never made another film and vanished off the radar completely.
It could always be possible that there may be additional undocumented early roles to be found.
