Unidentified actors
Unidentified credited actors
- Umberto Di Grazia - IMDb says he plays a Citizen of Sogo. Credited with c.s.c., so there's no guarantee that he appears, but he's not someone I'm familiar with, so maybe someone else can identify him.
- Franco Gulà - Does not appear. According to IMDb his scenes were deleted.
Actors listed as appearing by other sources, but not identified
- Loriana Bartella - IMDb as Sinister sister, appeared in Playboy photo spread, but may not appear in the film
- Marina Bartella - IMDb as Sinister sister, appeared in Playboy photo spread, but may not appear in the film
- Diane Bond - IMDb as Extra, appeared in Playboy photo spread, but may not appear in the film
- Vita Borg - IMDb as Sorceress
- Chantal Cachin - IMDb as Revolutionary
- Carla Cassola - IMDb, appeared in Playboy photo spread, but may not appear in the film
- Tania de Paolis - IMDb, appeared in Playboy photo spread, but may not appear in the film
- Fabienne Fabre - IMDb as The Tree Woman
- Sergio Ferrero - IMDb as The Great Tyrant's messenger
- Corinne Fontaine - IMDb
- Sadre Giordani - IMDb, appeared in Playboy photo spread, but may not appear in the film
- Gara Granda - IMDb as Girl, appeared in Playboy photo spread, but may not appear in the film
- Beatrice Lanscat - IMDb, appeared in Playboy photo spread, but may not appear in the film
- Judith Matah (Matoh?) - IMDb, appeared in Playboy photo spread, but may not appear in the film
- Janet McLeod - IMDb as Girl in Sogo
- Susan Moren - IMDb as Slave girl
- Gabriella Morganti - IMDb, appeared in Playboy photo spread, but may not appear in the film
- Carla Rousso - IMDb
- Antonio Sabato - IMDb as Jean-Paul. Sabato originally played the role Dildano, but was replaced by David Hemmings after filming his scenes (on-set images attest to this). I don't know whether or not this "Jean-Paul" is another character he played.
- Jean Saudray - IMDb
- Kitty Swan - IMDb as Girl in Sogo
- Romolo Valli - IMDb as Sogo kidnapper
- Silvana Venturelli - IMDb, appeared in Playboy photo spread, but may not appear in the film
- Barbara Winer - IMDb, appeared in Playboy photo spread, but may not appear in the film
|
- IMDb says this pair are played by Loriana and Marina Bartella, but the Playboy photo-spread shows otherwise
|
|
- Maybe Kitty Swan on the left? I'm awaiting responses in Quick identifications
|
|
- I suppose this role could be "The Great Tyrant's messenger", who IMDb says is played by Sergio Ferrero

But isn't this Catherine and Marie Therese Chevalier again? It's for sure
not Marina Bartella!
Regarding the Kitty Swan ID, I think it's possible but I just can't say for sure.
28: Far right is Aurora Batista.
37: First man on the left is Carlo Micolano (seen more clearly in pic 47).
44-45: The woman in purple should be Ester Masing.
51: This is Maria Teresa Orsini as the suicide girl; not the one in 30.
55: Alain Gérard.
62: Katiuska Lanvin.
73: The unbearded guy is Piero Morgia.
Also, Luigi Scavran has been identified in this film. See here:

I'm pretty sure it's not the Chevaliers again, these are different characters. The Bartellas are from IMDb, which of course cannot be relied upon, or maybe it's a different Marina Bartella??

Maybe put it as an uncertain ID? She does have Kitty's mannerisms
I did know about him (obviously since I got those shots), but forgot about him, probably due to him being practically invisible in the film

No, it's our Marina Bartella who appeared in the film but doesn't seem to be visible. Playboy ran a pictorial about the film titled "The Bizarre Beauties of Barbarella" and it identifies a lot of actresses that appear uncredited in the film. Unfortunately, it seems that most of them were either cut out or are at least not very visible in the finished version of the film. I've found scans of the Playboy piece but, sadly, many of the pictures are very small and that doesn't make it any easier, but anyway:
|
- These are identified in the magazine text as being (from left to right) Diane Bond, Beatrice Lanscat, Barbara Winer, Gara Granda, Marina and Loriana Bartella ("the film's most sinister sister act") and Katiuska Lanvin. Second from the left looks like Gara Granda to me, though, so I think they maybe got her and Beatrice Lanscat mixed up...
|
|
- These are identified as being (from left to right) Sadre Girodani, Tania de Paolis, Silvana Venturelli, Gara Granda, Beatrice Lanscat and Gabriella Morganti.
|
|
- These are identified as being (from left to right) Silvana Venturelli, Carla Cassola, Judith Matoh and Barbara Winer. Unlike the previous rows of pictures, though, these are clearly not set photos in costume...
|
|
- Gara Granda in costume. Unknown source.
|
|
- Set photo of Silvana Venturelli. From Playmen.
|
|
- Another set photo of Silvana Venturelli. From the Playboy article.
|
|
- Larger photo of the actress identified as being Diane Bond.
|
|
- Set photo of Veronique Vendell. In the background is the actress identified as being Barbara Winer.

Thank you, that's helpful in explaining why they are all listed on IMDb, if sadly not helpful in identifying them.
Is it definitely a photo-shoot with actresses/models who actually appeared in the film, rather than a photo shoot to promote the film with models wearing futuristic costumes? The fact that not one them (except Lanvin) is identifiable in the film would seem to indicate the latter, and it is quite possible that they sold them as being girls who appeared when in fact they didn't, since I doubt any Playboy readers would have been any the wiser. Another possibility, I suppose, is that they do appear, but not in the costumes in the images, though if that were the case you would expect at least a few to be identifiable. As Franco Gula's non-appearance testifies there was certainly some footage that ended up on the cutting room floor which to date has never seen the light of day, so maybe we'll never know for sure.
