One of the first roles I noticed him in was as an enthusiastic spectator watching a performance by Sara Montiel, hence his nickname. Similarly to "The Grey Man", he is one of those actors who tended to disappear into the background rather than appearing prominently. He was equally likely to be found with a moustache or clean shaven.
