Mara Oscuro in L'uomo, l'orgoglio, la vendetta (1967)

Mara Oscuro was a generica who was active in Italian cinema from at least the late 1950s and throughout the 1960s, often in unglamorous roles as simple working-class women of various kinds.

She was identified by our forum member Ciavazzaro thanks to her credited role in the fotoromanzo Carina N. 47 year 1971.

The first of only two known credited film roles for Mara. She appears in a several scenes throughout the film as one of the prisoners, yet never features very prominently in any of her scenes.

Mara's second credited role. She appears in numerous scenes throughout the film, but much like in Nella città l'inferno, she doesn't get much to do and is mostly relegated to the background.

Mara has two different roles in Zeffirelli's Romeo and Juliet (1968). First as Guest at the Capulet party...

...and then at the end of the film as Nun at the funeral
