Three friends, Mandrake, Er Pomata and Felice Roversi have the habit of horse racing betting and spend most of their days at the racetracks, hoping to make a big win and be able to retire for good. After yet another defeat to the horses, Gabriella, Mandrake's girlfriend, tired of seeing her boyfriend squandering money unnecessarily, makes an appointment with a fortune teller who will show her the three winning horses in the next race. Gabriella will pass this information to Mandrake and give him the money to bet. Mandrake and his two friends, considering these three horses very cheap, will bet on others but it will be precisely those indicated by the fortune teller who will be winning ...
