title.jpg

Director

Alberto De Martino (also credited for screenplay)

Selected production credits
Giorgio Ubaldi - Assistant director

Storyline

Some rebel gladiators team up with a troupe of travelling players to retrieve an incriminating stolen statue - or something like that (the plot of this one makes little sense, no matter what language you watch it in!).

Unidentified actors

Uncredited actors listed by other sources, but not identified
  • Giuliano Dell'Ovo - IMDb as Gladiator. We originally had Dell'Ovo identified in this role, but with the appearance of the film in HD it became obvious that it wasn't him. The IMDb ID was presumably copied from ours and now it's stuck there!

The actor on the right was previously ID'd as Enrico Chiappafreddo, but removed since the ID was disputed

The guy in 14, 16 and 19 is .... emmm ... a Basile, to me. But which one?
Is that Giorgio Ubaldi himself in 18?
And maybe it's my icon in 25 on the left? Too blurry to be sure.
And is it Ugo Mari in 31 on the very left?
And, last: 16 and 17: Mr. Chinny?

It's not Pasquale, but maybe Antonio?

I'm doubtful, but see what others think

If by "left" you mean "right" (or else the actors left)? Anyway, I'm not sure, you know her best. The girls never stop moving so are always somewhat out of focus plus the camera is focused on what is happening behind them and the HD print on Raiplay isn't as sharp as it could be

Yes, I think it could be, but not 100%, see what others think. That is really the only shot you get of him.

Doesn't seem like him to me

Sorry bout Silvana Bacci, on the right, of course, Yes, that's her definitely, holding something that's hanging in her hands.

And Antonio, also a yes.

I agree about Ugo Mari in 31.

28: The second girl from the right is Angela Palmieri.
